Our DJs mix music live. They beat match, transition between songs, read the room, and adjust to the energy of your guests throughout the night. Your requests help guide the DJ, but we do not simply play a fixed playlist from beginning to end.

Every Frobaby Productions DJ package includes access to our music pre-request app. You can use it from your phone to share songs and music preferences for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. This helps your DJ understand the songs that matter most to you and the overall vibe you want for the celebration. More about this process here.

Yes, you can select your DJ. Talent fee may apply. Alternatively, you can leave it to us to pick the DJ from our team for your celebration. You'll know who your DJ is at least a month before your wedding. View DJ bios.

Nope! The pricing is what it is. No travel fees. No setup fees. No equipment rental fees. No credit card processing fees. No other random fees that you weren't expecting.

Final pricing is what you see, plus tax (but we can't avoid that). Hawaii tax is 4.712%.

Yes. We'll hype everyone up for a grand entrance and make timeline related annoucements. We keep it friendly, upbeat, and minimal. We are not constantly interrupting conversation and are never stealing attention with bad jokes. If it doesn't need to be said, we don't say it. It's the perfect approach for 95% of all the weddings we do.

Our digital photo booth is a freestanding booth that can be placed in a high-traffic area such as near the bar, DJ booth, dance floor, or another attractive part of the venue. Guests can take photos, GIFs, and boomerangs, and the images can include a customized template with your names. After taking a photo, guests can enter their phone number and receive a text with a link to download it. The standard setup does not require props or a separate backdrop, so the venue itself can become part of the experience. You can also add a printer for an upgrade fee if you'd like.

Ceremony service covers the additional equipment, setup time, and logistics required to run a smooth and clear ceremony.

We like to arrive about three hours before the first guests are scheduled to arrive. It doesn't typically take us that long to set everything up, but we want to make sure we have a nice cushion so everything is ready to go. It takes us less than an hour to pack everything up at the end of the night. So for a typical wedding, we are on site about 11 hours from arrival and setup through the wedding and packing up to go

Nope. Our contracts for weddings are for up to 7  hours of continuous service. It's  simple and like this... If the guests are arriving at 3:00 and we are ready to start playing pre-cermeony music at that time. Later, we'll end at 10:00pm.

We can always add an hour or two of overtime to the contract for an earlier start time or later end time.

If a musician is playing for cocktail hour, that hour doesn't roll over to the end of the night, to have us finish at 11pm. Once the clock starts, it keeps rolling for hte next 7 hours.

Uplights can be any color. Most couples appreciate a neutral and warm "candle light" color during dinner. Then, during party time, we color change them with the music. Got a specific idea for uplights? Let us know.
