The standard setup does not require props or a separate backdrop. That keeps the footprint cleaner and lets the real venue — trees, ocean light, ballroom architecture, tent draping — show up in the shot.

Where we place it

Placement matters more than people think.

Good spots:

• Near the bar (natural traffic)
• Near the DJ / dance floor (energy spillover without blocking dancers)
• Another attractive high-traffic corner of the venue

We avoid burying it behind a column or in a dark hallway where nobody wanders. We also avoid parking it in the middle of the only dance-floor path.

Your venue layout, guest count, and timeline shape the call. We’ll talk through it when we plan the night — same as ceremony sound, MC cues, and effect timing.

Props, backdrops, and “do we need them?”

Default answer: no. The standard digital booth setup is built to work without a prop bin and without a separate backdrop wall.

That doesn’t mean you can’t style the area. It means you’re not forced into a carnival look to make the booth function. Couples who want a cleaner, venue-forward aesthetic usually prefer this approach. Couples who love props can still bring their own vibe — just know the booth itself doesn’t depend on that kit.

Printer upgrade is separate if you want physical keepsakes on site. Digital delivery is the core experience.

Guest experience in plain English

1. Guest walks up.
2. They take a photo, GIF, or boomerang.
3. They enter their phone number.
4. They get a text with a link to download.

That’s it. No account maze. No “check your email in three days.” The point is immediate value during the party — and files that travel with the guest.
